When a load goes wrong, Drayford is already on it.

Most shippers keep a broker for the bad day. Here’s what happens on yours.

Your trucker can’t cover it
The carriers already bidding on your lanes take the load, so nobody’s calling around at 6 a.m. Keep your truckers for every other day.
The driver’s running late
Drayford sees it on tracking, texts and calls the driver, and sends you the new ETA before your customer has to ask.
The carrier isn’t who they say
They never get the load. Authority and insurance are checked on FMCSA, the owner confirms with a code to their FMCSA phone, and the agent confirms the insurance. The truck’s VIN on the insurance has to match the truck on the ELD tracking. For the most protection, add Driver ID: your dock scans the driver’s license at pickup. Cargo theft losses rose 60% in 2025. CargoNet; Travelers.
Your customer wants to know where it is
Send one link with the location, BOL, POD and temp photos. 57% of shippers call real-time visibility a must-have. Transport Intelligence; project44.
Something arrives damaged
Every time, photo and POD is already on the load, so the claim with the carrier’s insurer starts with the proof. Coming soon Drayford files the claim and follows it up for you, with a person on any calls.

Rates going up? Ask thousands of carriers to bid, not five.

Most shippers can call 5 to 10 carriers or brokers when rates go up. Drayford picks the carriers best suited to each of your lanes, by where they run, what they haul and the size of their fleet, and emails them every day from your own company address.

It isn’t a mass blast. Every address is verified, no carrier gets the same email twice, and carriers who don’t answer get a rest. Our own send data sets the timing and spacing, and the email is built on months of testing what gets carriers to answer. They just reply with a number.

42,491 carrier inboxes reached this way since May 2026.

If you pay $2,000 and someone bids $1,800, book them or take the bid back to your current carrier.

Before you switch.

I already book carriers directly. Why Drayford?

Two reasons. More carriers bid on your lanes every day, so your current ones have to stay sharp on price. And Drayford takes the tracking, pickup numbers and paperwork off your team on every load.

Do I have to drop my trucker?

No. Invite your own truckers and book them in Drayford. The checked backup list is for the day they’re short.

How do I know the carrier is real?

Every carrier’s authority and insurance are checked against FMCSA before they can take a load. The owner confirms setup with a code sent to the phone or email FMCSA has on file, and the insurance is confirmed with their agent.

Who pays if a claim is denied?

You file with the carrier and their insurer, and every timestamp, photo and POD is already on the load. Coming soon Drayford works the whole claim for you, the way an experienced claims desk would: it builds the file, sends it to the insurer, follows up and pushes back on a denial. You choose how much of it Drayford handles. If you’d rather someone else held that risk on certain loads, keep your broker for those and put the rest on Drayford.

Who keeps the paper trail for disputes?

Every message, signed load confirmation, gate time, POD and temperature photo stays on the load with its timestamp. Short-pays and detention get settled from that record.

Can I try it on a few loads first?

Yes. Start with one lane or a few loads. You can still tender the rest to your broker right from Drayford, so every load sits in one place while you compare. Move more over as it proves itself. The first month is free, so you can see the difference before you pay.

Is it finished?

It’s in beta, and that works in your favor. A full drayage operation already runs every one of its loads on Drayford, and new automation and carrier bidding ship every week. Early shippers help decide what gets built next. That’s part of why the first month is free. Before you sign up, we tell you what’s live today and what goes live by your setup date.
